We are working with a long-term client who are expanding their renewables division. As part of a global PLC, we are looking for a Business Development Manager with a background in identifying solar projects and winning new opportunities across the UK.
The successful candidate will work closely with the technical specification sales team in sharing existing clients such as local authorities, housing associations, Academies, NHS, Building Surveyors, Architects etc. The focus will target solar farms along with flat roof commercial and industrial projects. Good understanding in strategic planning to prospect for new business, a strong and effective negotiator who can communicate at all levels. General technical awareness will be required to offer technical solutions when required along with competent I.T skills to produce written reports detailing activity levels and progression.
Ideally we would like to speak to candidates based in the southeast where a large portion of business will be generated from although the position will extend across most parts of the UK so the candidate will be required to travel with some overnight stays.
