One of our long-term clients who continue to grow their impressive presence across the UK are looking to increase their external salesforce by introducing a southern Business Development Manager. The position will primarily focus on achieving an annual area target, selling the complete range of products through the companies roofing branch network. Manage and develop the existing customer base whilst targeting and bringing on board new users of roofing systems. Assume responsibility for achieving sales budgets of assigned products within territory and will be expected to provide expert knowledge and support to branch staff and customers. Providing invaluable assistance in securing sales opportunities.
Monitor and review sales margin across region & products, addressing shortfalls and areas of concern, whilst highlighting areas of opportunity to the business. Undertake product demonstrations & staff training across the product range. Influencing and promoting sales during face to face meeting with customers. Must be competent in knowing all the USP's and installation of both membrane and liquid applied systems, from a practical and technical point of view. Knowledge of different types of flat roofing systems and relevant built ups would be an advantage.
