Our client is a widely recognised name within the construction industry with a global presence and highly respected reputation. We have been tasked with identifying a Business Development Manager with a background in the Solar sector to join their national team within the UK.
The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing revenue streams and the customer base in the PV roofing sector, focusing on the south of the UK. To be the regional expert on relevant sustainable/renewable products with understanding in developing the renewables market and products in the region. Working closely with external sales to train and support them on sustainable opportunities. The role will also include supporting a network of branches and their teams along with engaging with existing clients/customers to drive sales revenue through them. Work with business to develop suitable training modules to support the different sales teams and customers on their Solar PV journey.
Candidates will have good understanding of new build legislation that impacts this sector along with excellent communication skills both written and oral. Confident in presenting and liaising with people at all levels. Reporting directly into the Divisional Sales Director as well as working with the wider solar BDM team.
