Supporting domestic, commercial, and industrial projects, you will help produce solar PV designs for pitched and flat roofs, reviewing layouts to improve efficiency, quality and performance. You will also support the preparation of MCS-compliant design documentation and accurate electrical designs up to switchgear level, ensuring designs meet the relevant standards and regulations.

Working closely with the solar sales team and branch network, you will provide technical support on solar PV and battery storage products, helping colleagues and customers understand the proposed designs through clear reports and presentations. You will develop your skills across design software including AutoCAD, PVSOL, SolarEdge Designer and Valk Planner Pro.

The successful candidate will have some experience in a design-focused role and be comfortable using AutoCAD or equivalent software. An HND or higher qualification would be preferred, alongside some knowledge of solar PV, battery storage, new build or retrofit projects.
